Ice-cream Delish

It’s summer up here in Brisbane. And summer calls for ice-cream. At a friend’s house recently she brought out homemade icy poles – they were mango and banana whizzed up in her Vitamix. Delicious. The kids loved them and so did I. Yesterday I was at a homeware shop and saw some of those icy pole holder thingies – where you pour your mixture into the mould, add the sticks and wham bam you’ve got homemade icy poles. The pack cost me $19.95 and it makes 8 icy poles.

I couldn’t wait to try it out. It’s already paid for itself.

Ingredients

• 1 banana
• 6 strawberries
• 150 ml cream

Servings Ingredients 1 banana 6 strawberries 150 ml cream

Instructions

1. Just put it all in the blender and then when it’s a lovely smooth consistency pour it into the moulds and freeze!
