That’s the kind of food that my prep boy has for lunch. Not sure he would eat that for dinner too. There’s no way that I would make different meals for everyone. Looking forward to some new inspiring ideas though to feed the mob!

LIVE TONIGHT!

Nick is away for work so I’m keeping things pretty easy and chilled for dinners this week. I’ll go live around 6pm when I’m cooking dinner to talk through how simple I make things for myself when single parenting.

Note: screen time will most probably be in full force so I can talk.
Note: this will NOT guarantee interruption free viewing!

And this pic? Well, when your three year old gets pretty much the cutest haircut on the planet the cuteness is overwhelming! And you share unashamedly on social media....

Here’s my thumbs up to teachers.

I’ve had my kids Prep and Grade Two Information Nights the past two nights and am blown away by the creativity, drive and commitment the teachers have.

It’s a big deal sending your kids off to school to hang out with another adult and a bunch of kids. What’s ridiculously reassuring is when that other adult is as passionate about the wellbeing of your child as you’d be in those school hours.

Hats off to teachers for doing one of the most important jobs around.

Who else thinks teachers ROCK???

I’m a teacher, yet my heart is with American teachers right now. Our wonderful teachers might be pouring over resources and having late nights but we are so lucky. How incredible to think our colleagues across the water are fronting up to school this week amidst fear and chaos bubbling over, and teaching. It is so surreal to me. Teachers are a special kind, if I don’t say so myself!

100% and the rest! My daughters teacher dropped a meal off at our house over the weekend after hearing that I had 2 slipped discs in my neck (don’t want to imagine the stories my daughter told her 😳) so not only do they educate and nurture our children but support the whole family and be an incredible role model for all of us xx
