This is the story of Becci…
Becci was one of the first people I met when I arrived in Brisbane. Â She was also the first person I called when I was having a SHOCKER day, feeling very homesick and alone and needed someone around. Â She jumped on a train with her daughter and sat in my house for a few hours and I felt safe in her presence.
She’s what I would call a ‘giver’. She has a heart of gold.
Becci has always asked me for hints about how to eat better.  To feel healthier.  She, like all of us, wants to do the best job as a mum and didn’t feel great about what she was feeding her family.  So I’d give her little snippets but I KNOW that it all seemed a bit overwhelming.
When I created Small Steps to Wholefoods I always had Becci in the back of my mind.  Someone who felt that eating real food made from scratch was just
way too expensive,
way too hard,
way too much to learn.
And her husband would NEVER eat it!
She completed the first round of Small Steps and we were chatting the other day about the difference it has made to her life.  Losing weight and buying clothes a size smaller was NOT something I expected to hear.  Because I have not created Small Steps as a weight loss program.  It’s a REAL FOOD program (oh and movement and mindset thrown in too – because we know that health is about WAY more than the food we put in our mouths).
